After four days of mostly being holed up at home with a sick child, he was finally well enough to return to school today. So I decided to be spontaneous. Plus after almost 5 days of going back and forth on a matter, I was a little emotionally depleted.
After sending said kiddo to school, I took the bus to my new favourite cafe and spent time with the Lord. I brought my headphones along to tune into Praise FM on TuneIn but realized I didn't need it because they were playing praise songs over the speakers!
What a refreshing time I had! I felt His love and joy, and left that place after 1.5 hours with a spring in my step.
God is good.
