For my non- Singaporean friends, this may seem a little odd. Grammatically wrong, but hey, Singlish gets the point across quicker sometimes. ;)
Some Singaporean folk have a tendency to impatiently pump the cross-walk button many times with the hopes that that'll make the traffic lights change quicker.
This reminds them that it ain't gonna make the green man appear in less time. ;)
