Jade

I grew up thinking jade was a really grandmotherly kind of stone. Old fashioned and cold. 

But in recent years, I find myself drawn to it, I'm not sure why... old age? haha... There's something about the cooler green shades of this stone, which make it more modern.

Choo Yilin is a local Singaporean designer, whose jade bangles are embellished with gemstone- studded vermeil and silver, have been on my lust list for 2 years now. They retail at S$380, which is quite affordable, but I'm first trying to convince myself I can wear it more than twice a month.

I might not be able to hope for very much longer... it's such a unique and gorgeous piece of jewelry.
